HOW WE WORK

We specialize in producing jewellery packaging for brands. Please read the below to find out how our process works as well as FAQs such as timelines, sampling, and the design process.

PRICING

Guide prices are quoted on most of the product pages with qty price breaks for higher volumes.
These prices give a good indication of how much your packaging will cost. Adjusting colours, logos or fitments does not impact the cost significantly.
Once you have added your selected product (s) to your cart and submitted it, our team will be in contact with you to design your packaging.

TIMINGS

Our typical timelines are as follows;
Artworking - 2-3 days
Samples - 10-12 days
Production - 45 days
Airfreight - 10 days OR Shipping - 45 days

*Please allow for 2 rounds of samples
** Typically it takes 3-4 months to develop and manufacture jewelery packaging

MINIMUM ORDERS

We have a minimum order of 1000 units and/or a minimum spend of $15,000 per project.
This is because each project involves at least 50+ hours to get a client onboarded.
At our discretion, we can produce smaller projects as long as the onboarding process time can be reduced i.e. the product and artwork is clear and straightforward. Thank you for your understanding in this area.

N.B. The onboarding time includes the time it takes for each member of our team to get to grips with your unique product combination. The account manager, packaging designer, production manager, QC inspector, and finance team will each spend significant amounts of time on your project regardless of whether it is for 1000 units or 100,000 units. Since we can only take on a fixed number of projects at any one time it is not economic for us to focus on smaller projects as much as we'd love to support smaller businesses grow.

SHIPPING

All prices are quoted ex works from our factory in China.
We can arrange shipping based on Delivery At Terminal (DAT) terms.
This means we will quote to ship and deliver the goods to a terminal (shipping port or agreed-on place) and are responsible for the costs and risks of bringing the goods once agreed. However, the client is responsible for the risks and costs associated with transferring the goods to your warehouse or premises when the goods arrive at the agreed place or port.3

QUALITY CONTROL

Your products will be artworked and sampled before mass production. Either the most recent sample or the most recent artwork will be the benchmark for quality once the goods are manufactured. Note that there may be subtle tolerances in colour and material due to natural variances. We do our upmost to keep this to a minimum, however, this is often an unavoidable in smaller production runs.

Once the goods are manufactured, we send advance copies from the mass production. These are representative of mass production and we ask for these advance copies to be approved before the goods leave our factory.

PAYMENT TERMS

Our payment terms are;

Upfront - $200 per sample (includes the artwork)
Upon Approval of Sample / Mass Production Start Date - 50% of invoice value
Upon Completion of Mass Production / Before Shipping - 50% once goods are ready to ship

*Shipping costs are charged seperatly and depend on destination, weight and cubic volume.

ARTWORK & SAMPLES

Before we mass-produce anything, we will create artwork for you to approve. This will include your company colours (pantone references), logo, fitment types, etc. Our packaging designer will work closely with you to ensure all the details are included.

Once the artwork is confirmed. We produce a pre-production sample (PPS) for you which is representative of mass production. Once the PPS is approved we will proceed to mass production.

Subsequent samples or additional samples (e.g.various colour ways or logo positions) will incurr secondary sample charges.

MASS PRODUCTION

Mass production is done in our factory in China. During the production, your account managers will keep you updated about the production and can share photos of the progress as your packaging.

Goods are packed in double walled corrugated cartons, clearly labelled and packed carefully onto pallets ready for shipping or airfreight.
